  • Perseverance

    Ladies,

    We've arrived at a point in our season where the results feel like they don't reward the work we've put in. Remember how far you've come along, and how much you have improved. Place that self-evaluation in the front of your mind when you come out to the field. It is our goal as a team to improve and push forward. To me as a coach, I place more value on your improvement. So keep the good work, and don't forget that there are other tournaments for us to play in as well as another season.

  • Ladies, we must Focus!

    I would like to take this moment to remind all of you ladies something very important. It is constantly reminded to all of you in your player contract that RESPECT is vital throughout practices and games. Not only to me, but also your opponents and teamates. And, lately I have felt a sense of distraction. We must advert ourselves and buckle down and focus. In failing to pay attention, you not only fail to respect me, but also you fail to respect your teamates. Measures will be taken soon to reiterate the importance of what is to be expected. Ladies as well, we must focus and prepare for our opponents this weekend as neither will present to be easy in any sense. These are must win games and we must approach them as serious as possible. With that note, I will see you on the field.

  • Great Game!

    Ladies,

    Congratulations on being resilient, as I've said before we will be faced all season long with adversity. But, it is our ability to overcome these challenges that will help us prevail. Tomorrow we play at 9:40, be there no later than 9, we need to be prepared so that we can play well, and be alert. Today we started of ok, but I feel we can perform better. Rememer our fundamentals, those will help us when things become difficult, and don't forget what you eat today will be your fuel for tomorrow, so watch what you eat. Have a good night's rest and I'll see you tomorrow.

  • Semi Final

    Ladies and Parents,

    Tomorrow we embark on our Semi-Final against our neighbors the Chula Vista Pumas at 10:20 a.m. @ Cliffridge Field. I insist that you please arrive an hour before the game so we can properly check in and warm up. Thank you for a wonderful start and I cannot wait to see where our endeavors can take us.

  • Practice attendance this week

    Parents and Ladies,

    I would like to further insist with our tournamtent coming up it is very important for us to consistently show up to practice so that we may be well prepared. As far as the weekend clean up. Ladies, please have your forms in on Monday so that you may all have your shirt for the weekend. I appreciate your involvement, and think this will be a great step forward for our team as we display that not only can we display proper character on the field, but also off the field as we extend a helping hand in our community. I'll be at the field on Monday 5 p.m. Sharp, we will be running the 5 kilometer run around the park.

  • Tournament confusion...

    I would like to apologize for the confusion, it was under my impression that we were going to be able to play in a tournament in Fullerton/Anaheim area, but as it turns out the tournament for the girls seems to fall on the exact same weekend as another tournament that we are signed up for. I am looking to see if there is anything local, if not we will have to postpone and perhaps sign up for a tournament for the Thaksgiving break. I do apologize and hope we can find a quick solution, if there are any questions do not hesitate to e-mail me.

  • torunament information

    For the upcoming weeks, we should be having our tournaments paid for comliments of very generous donations from our team sponsors. As such I will be having game sideline shirts made with our Sponsor logos, and also we will be submitting to them a team letter thanking them and also photograph. I have the following information for our tournaments, for August 29th- 30th we will be playing at Chelsea SC Kickoff tournament. We will be playing in the U-13 bracket, I don't have any further information other than it will be all day both days and we will need to have a parent meeting so that we can coordinate a Hotel situation for the team.     I will also be continuing our fitness training on Mondays and heavily recommend that with our tournaments coming up that it is important that the girls make it so that they may be better equiped to perform at thier top levels. Monday fitness is from 5-6 p.m. at Rohr Park.

  • Uniforms and Photos

    We now have the team uniforms for the girls on the team, many of the girls who ordered thier uniform collected them on Tuesday. Some are still missing thier uniforms, and will recieve them on Thursday. As well, we will be having our photos for our Cal South Player cards on Thursday. I would recommend the girls coming with thier hair combed in the way they would have it for a game.

  • Fitness training resumes Monday

    As of July 27th we will resume fitness training. I will be at Rohr Park at 5 p.m. precisely, anyone over 5 minutes late will have to catch up as I will take the team on a Jog of Rohr Park and the Golf course. I hope to accomplish the run in 30 minutes, and hope to bring it down well within 25 minutes within a couple weeks. I would also like to emphasize that we will be having a parent meeting on Thursday after practice. I would like to hand out papers that are used to inform you on certain issues that pertain to the strength and conditioning of your daughters so we will not have any injuries. I hope to see you all present and have a wonderful weekend.
